ReGroup Foundation is a veteran services non-profit with the mission to assist veterans in their transition out of military service. ReGroup offers individual, couples, and family counseling, financial counseling, career counseling, peer support groups, mentoring, and education, as well as employment support.
Certain veterans with no support group (such as family) or identified as being at higher risk of hardships will be allowed to live on the ReGroup Ranch for up to 18 months free of charge while they complete a three-phase Transition Program.
The New Braunfels ranch will house 12-18 of these at-risk veterans for decades to come. ReGroup Foundation's ongoing goal is to decrease the effects of PTSD, divorce rate, unemployment, substance abuse, homelessness, and suicide rates plaguing our veteran population.
After being at war for almost 18 years, our current exiting veterans have done more deployments to war zones than any previous generation. They are resilient and strong but often need a bit of guidance and support as they transition.
As a way to fund their mission and objectives, ReGroup operates an aquaponics facility on the ranch. The purpose of this operation is multifaceted:
The proceeds and donations for the first annual CBD Farm Fusion Dinner will help fund several projects chosen by ReGroup Foundation. As part of their sustainable farming methods, they will utilize the Zip Grow Vertical Towers. Their plan is to purchase and install them in three stages consisting of about 400 towers per stage. Full production will see about 1,100 of them.
Another important element of their fully sustainable ranch is implementing bee hives to harvest honey. ReGroup Foundation has chosen to work with Honey Flow, winner of numerous awards for their approach and packaged bee hive kits.
But before ReGroup can farm and start their bee hives, they must build a wall on their raw hill country ranch. They are working with Home Depot to secure pricing for materials to build their fence. All donations and proceeds will help ReGroup Foundation on the journey to provide life saving programs for their veterans and becoming a sustainable and eco-friendly community.
Benefitting ReGroup Foundation.
